This custom timber frame home of Eastern
White Pine is located just outside Brevard, North Carolina.
It was designed by its owners to take full advantage of some
of the most spectacular mountain views we have seen.
The
home owners worked closely with Robert Funderburk of Cabin
Creek Tim ber Frames to modify our standard plan, 'The
Coweeta' to meet their individual needs.

The views were in hiding this day ... nice and
cozy inside though.

Here you can see both sides of the hammer
beam trusses Cabin Creek Timber Frames crafted for this
timber frame home.
This detail shows three knee braces of
Eastern White Pine with contrasting splines of
solid Black Walnut. Splines are employed by
Cabin Creek Timber Frames to further strengthen
certain joinery connections.
