Custom timber frame home near Six Mile,
South Carolina
| This
home was raised by Cabin Creek Timber frames in July of
2007. These pictures were taken in early February 2008.
One can see the special imprint the home owners are
putting into their very special timber frame home. This
custom home is in actuality three separate timber frames
connected by two stick built sections. The front entry
level sits atop a full poured concrete wall ground floor

| Here you
can view the main entrance of the house. The
exterior of the house is stucco. The shingles are of
poplar bark. The rock work on the house and
retaining walls are of granite veneer with recessed
joints. |

Pictured
above is the compound joinery great room. Here you
can see the crown post of black walnut, and off from
the crown post are cherry flitch struts of cherry.
The dragon plates are of black walnut; the dragon
beams are of cherry. All ridge beams, purlins and
posts are of eastern white pine. The bedroom
wing suites have knee braces of black walnut, cherry
and butternut. |

| The
truly unique cabinetry, doors ,mantle ,paneling, trim,
and hardwood flooring were crafted by Bell Enterprises
