Timber Frame Homes

This Custom Hybrid Home incorporates three separate “timber frames” into its over all design plan.

The home was designed by the home owner in conjunction with Cabin Creek Timber frames' in-house designer and the home owners’ architect. The hybrid timber frame home is located in the mountains of western North Carolina near Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, North Carolina.

One of the three separate timber frames houses the dining room and kitchen areas. One can see here the beautiful river rock fireplace in the corner of these rooms; “the kitchen is the heart of the home.”
